“But I just want to help people in beloved Africa!” was my first thought when I was being oriented to the technology behind TEN3—servers, calendars, remote accesses. I just wanted to learn more about the curriculum training workshops this summer in Nigeria and how they are going to impact precious lives. After all, isn’t that what TEN3’s supposed to be doing?
Currently, the technology department needs a temporary consultant who can help with trouble shooting our TEN3 work site server. The server is located on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) from a hosting company, and is set-up as a LAMP server running Centos 4.8. Major applications include LDAP, Tomcat for running JSP Wiki, eGroupWare (a PHP program) and WebDAV.

Read more...“Desperation. That’s what motivated our weekly prayer time for our TEN3 staff,” shares George Cail, chief operations officer. “We are very aware of how dependent we are on God and the prayers of His people. Therefore, we welcome the inaugural TEN3 Moment."
The leadership of TEN3 is also very aware of the commitment many advocates and volunteers have to pray for the ministry. TEN3 Moment, a brief newsletter sent every other week, will help uphold this commitment by offering current prayer needs while also staying connected to the prayers of TEN3 staff.
