2010 Curriculum for Africa Workshops

For the past two years, TEN3* has been working to develop educational materials requested by African leaders. The 2010 Curriculum for Africa workshops in Nigeria this summer is the venue where the discipleship of these requested materials will begin. These workshops will nurture our ongoing, long-term commitment to developing transformational educational systems.

$35,000 covers the cost for a TEN3* team to travel to Nigeria and coordinate these workshops in response to our African brothers and sisters request. Your gift will help:

Provide respected cross-cultural missionaries to disciple African educators.
Teach African educators to confront the root of core issues with scripture.
Disciple the skill of writing effective curriculum.
Train African administrators to face the complexities and unique challenges of operating schools in Africa.
Disciple attendees to reproduce similar workshops in their respective communities.

“Desperation. That’s what motivated our weekly prayer time for our TEN3 staff,” shares George Cail, chief operations officer. “We are very aware of how dependent we are on God and the prayers of His people. Therefore, we welcome the inaugural TEN3 Moment."

The leadership of TEN3 is also very aware of the commitment many advocates and volunteers have to pray for the ministry. TEN3 Moment, a brief newsletter sent every other week, will help uphold this commitment by offering current prayer needs while also staying connected to the prayers of TEN3 staff.
